Games of 2007

AdrianWerner did a great job creating a Games of 2007 thread over at GameSpot, which features PC games expected in 2007. It really shows how much greatness is still heading the PC way. It was also nice how he separated the exclusive from the multiplatform games.

My thoughts on the list and 2007 in general...

The really big blockbuster games available on the PC will be: Supreme Commander, Spore, WoW: Burning Crusade, Crysis, Bioshock and, UT2K7.

Other games with potential are: Hellgate: London, Dragon Age, Stalker, Assassins Creed, Clive Barker's Jericho, GRAW2, and Jade Empire.

What's also cool to see are all the indie games. I remember when indie games were just pong and tentris clones. It seems they could really pull sales from the big gunned publishers. Biggest indie surprise to me is the Wing Commander Saga.

Thank goodness there aren't a lot from the RTS genera. I really want to catch up on all the RTS's that came out in 2006.

Lastly, the biggest scare is the MMORG Star Trek Online. Yikes!

Hellgate London is the future of Diablo. It's made by the team that created D1 and D2, after all.

I love it -- Fallout 3 - all we know is that's it's being made. At least it's still alive
