Games from the Old West

Console game reviewers show ignorance once again. This time its with Gamespy review of "Gun" by Neversoft Entertainment. In short its a first/third-person shooter set in the "Old West". Near the end of the review, the final line was, "...Neversoft might be able to create gaming's first Western masterpiece." Man this really burns me. People that know me, know that I can't stand console short mindedness. Its as if the PC games have never existed. Clearly, the game "Outlaws" by Lucasarts, is a masterpiece. Made in 1997, Outlaws had everything one could ask for, right down to the awesome spaghetti western music. I'm sure this particular reviewer didn't even know that Lucasarts used to make good games. So I'll let him of the hook this time. Now for a true "masterpiece"western one doesn't have to look any farther then "Custer's Revenge" from 1983. Of course, best to use the word "master" lightly.
