PC Games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by interest and I explain why.
(Monthly releases are only estimated)
The List is back for 2008, here's how the PC kicks of the new year:
Sins of a Solar Empire - RTS/4x Strategy
This is a Sci-fi RTS that promises to combine the strategic thinking of a turn based strategy with the fast action of a RTS. This could be the closest we'll get to the Star Control series. If anyone could pull this off, its Stardock (makes of Galactic Civ), a company based in Plymouth, Michigan.
Neverwinter Night 2: Adventure Pack: Mysteries of Westgate - RPG, Expansion
A new adventure for NWN2. Unrelated to the original storyline. In fact, not even from the original developers.
Sam & Max: S2E3, Night of the Raving Dead - Adventure
Ok, these come out almost every month, I just keep forgetting to add them.
Frontlines: Fuel of War - FPS
Non-linear modern shooter. Made by the folks that did the awesome mod: Desert Combat for Battlefield 1942.
Medieval II Total War: Gold Pack - strategy, bundle
This includes the expansion Kingdoms. The base game lacked divers units, but this helped solve the problem.
Conflict : Denied Ops - FPS
Typical modern combat shooter, but with co-op. Could be fun.
