GameTap Ads

As a member of Game Tap, I have a certain stake in the companies success. Having many game titles to my fingers is a great feeling, and is probably the closest a PC gamer can get to legit game rental. However, the service seems to continuously shoot itself in the foot. They changed the interface, which resulted in many bugs, and inability to play some of the game library. They also continue to lack 64 bit support. Perhaps they should look at the Steam stats, and see the 64 bit OS are on the rise (10%, with Windows 7 looming in autumn). Both of these issues have led to many members to drop out of the program. The smaller the user base, the harder it will be to sign new titles. Gametap has released some new adds, one which gave a bit of a smile, however, they need to fix the problems, before pissing off potential customers.
