PC games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by interest and I explain why.
(Monthly US releases are only estimated, game may end up all hype and really suck)
Dec = Holiday left overs.
Monkey Island Tales - Adventure
Final episode this month. Overall, knowing we'll never get a true Monkey Island 3, casts shadow onto an otherwise good game.
Dirt 2 - Racing Sim
Dirt 1 was a nice change from the usual racer, giving us off road racing at its best. It did have its share of drab points, Dirt 2 maybe fixes them.
The Scourge Project - FPS
From unknown Spanish game developer, this title promises a unique coop experience from the ground-up. Specifically, each character will have their own back-story and cut-scenes. Episodic content, with the 1st & 2nd episodes for $20.
The Saboteur - TPS
A WWII stealth game sounds intriguing. Plus the use of B&W with splashes of color give it a unique art style to the storytelling. EA shut down Pandemic Studios, developers of this game, so the support from original team will be nonexistent.
Divinity II: Ego Draconis - RPG (Eu only; NA Jan 2010)
3rd in the Divinity series. Genreally doesn't get the press the AAA titles get, but the series has been notable. Uses the Oblivion/FO3 engine. Reports indicate, this title may slip to Jan 2010.
