The List - August 2012

PC games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by my interest. (Monthly US releases are only estimated, game may end up all hype and really suck).

Dark Souls - RPG
An original RPG story that's good, and challenging?  Sounds like a perfect mix for PC gamers.  But it wasn't to be, until the internet/socialites cried.  So here it is, Windows Live and all.  Yeah, this is THAT game.

Guild Wars 2 - RPG
Still F2P MMORPG;  the grand daddy of sorts for the F2P model.  It may be stepping too much into the MMO field for my tastes, loosing that sandbox feel of the first Guild Wars.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron - Shooter
The first was dumb fun, didn't try the second.  This is the 3rd of the series.  Adds Dinobots, and some of the larger transformers.  Has potential for more dumb fun.
