PS3 foiled Again

Sony has announced that it will once again delay its release of its new console, PS3. They stated reasons were due to issues with the new blue-ray technology (BD-ROM). Its sad really, Sony really really wants Blue-Ray to be the future of HD-DVD. So much they'll put their console on the line over it. Sony also announced that all their PS3 games will be blue-ray only. I truly see this as a unnecessary gamble, considering I doubt any of their games are going to break the 8GB DVD limit. So, that raises the question of why blue-ray? Sony claims its for better copy protection. In reality, its all about control.
To Sony, Your memory stick failed due to Secure Digital (SD) being practical, and your blue-ray will fail for you pompousness.
