2008 GS Most Wanted

Gamespy published their complete list of games they most wanted to see for 2008, here's my usual breakdown.

PS3 - 26
X360 - 22
PC - 19
Wii - 4
DS - 4
PSP - 3
PS2 - 3

So here's the rub. At times it seemed like they were just listing game titles to fill out their categories. This was a bit unfortunate, because it would include some lame ass fighter genera game, but totally miss Project Origin (~ FEAR 2). And where the hell is the new Total War Title or Sins of a Solar Empire? Way incomplete.

Yes, the PC is not the on top. Gamespy often didn't even bother listing PC as available for some of the games. I hate when they do that, just makes more work for me. Anyways, I'm also in denial that games like Grand Theft Auto IV will not be on the PC...eventually. Seriously, just wait for it, it'll happen.

The PS3 simply died in sales last year, so this is indeed looking promising for Sony. You could say Sony is cheating because its 2 years worth of games in one year. We're seeing the expected pattern with X360 and PC going hand and hand with many releases, so no surprise their so close. Then there's the Wii. Jesus, 2 good games last year, now 4 potential this year. Sad. I think 3 of the 4 have the plumber in it. Milk it Nintendo, the casual zombie gamers love you for it.
