The Death of GRIN

It official, GRIN is bankrupt.

I'm mixed on this news. GRIN is best known in the PC world for developing the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games. Both games couldn't live up to the massive online excitement the original Ghost Recon had, however, they did keep it alive with coop options. The big problem, for the GRAW series, was simply the were unfinished...and buggy. 2 years of patches made the game playable on most systems, creating a sense that GRAW really was a good game...however the short lived spotlight had moved on. Their last 3 games from GRIN were mediocre to flop reviews. Something that you simply can't afford in today's market. The fork however, they didn't land the Ghost Recon 4 contract. I suspect Ubisoft clued into the problems GRAW had, and simply decided it was time to pull the plug.

Its a shame to see GRIN go, considering they DID support their products. However, they could have done a better job.
