PC games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by interest and I explain why.
(Monthly US releases are only estimated, game may end up all hype and really suck)
Hearts of Iron 3 - Strategy
Extremely detailed WWII strategy game. Series has a huge cult following, but is often shafted in reviews by writers that don't have time to learn the game.
Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 2 - Adventure
The next chapter in the new Monkey Island series is released. Chapter 1 was a good start, minus the controls.
Wolfenstein - FPS
BJ Blazkowicz is back. Basically, more sci-fi Nazis with better graphics.
Joint Ops; Combined Arms - FPS, Bundle
Essentially, Battlefield type gameplay. This joins Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising with the Joint Operations: Escalation expansion. A bit pricey ($30) for a 2004 game.
Battlefield 1943 - FPS
The re imagined Battlefield 1942 returns, as BF 1943. New graphics, less maps, less supported players. and less mods. I feel like I just described DoW 2.
Yes, I'm intentionally leaving out the Batman game, way too much hype [EDIT: its also been delayed on PC].
