The List - January '10

PC games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by interest and I explain why.
(Monthly US releases are only estimated, game may end up all hype and really suck)

Mass Effect 2 - RPG
The next installment to the over hyped Mass Effect storyline. I just hope they can expand past the generic sci-fi and deliver something better.

Dark Void - TPS
Shooter with Jet packs. So I liked Duke Nukem & Tribes for the jetpacks.

Blood Bowl - Sports
Yeah, a sure sign of a dork is when a Games Workshop game makes the list. As if blogging about PC games wasn't bad enough. This is football with elves and orcs and ...um blood.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Wings of Prey - Flight Sim
Its not clear if I missed this last month as it had a very silent release to the PC (maybe only on Steam). Being an IL-2 game its worth some notice, as the series is probably the best we can get these days in flight sims. That said, the is a console port and its from a developer that did not do the past IL-2 games.
