The List - August 2011

PC games worthy of mention for this month, ordered by interest.
(Monthly US releases are only estimated, game may end up all hype and really suck)

Limbo - platformer
The dark indie gem arrives for the PC.  I've LP'd it, its so good, you'll forget you hate platformers.

Age of Empires: online
Free to play, rebooted classic, lead by the team that did Supreme Commander.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad - shooter
A shooter made by PC gamers, for PC gamers. Tripwire is best known for incredible support, and updates after the release of the game.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - shooter
Sorta like FEAR, in the sense that the 1st Deus Ex rocked, the second was horrible,  so the 3rd will be somewhere in the middle.

Tropico 4 - strategy
Always been a fan of the series, but it may be too soon, since we just had Tropico 3 in 2009.
