Co-op People CO-OP

Vivendi Universal Games last week announced they are developing an expansion to SWAT 4. This is big news because, many in the mod community for SWAT thought the developers turned their back on the community and the game. The expansion promises greater co-op play and new choice of weapons.

That said, I want to urge the makers of PC games to push Co-op game play. Why do you think MMORPG are so popular? Its not for the monthly fees! And Halo got all these awards, yet it was nothing new for the PC. Co-op has been with us for a long time. But sadly, its lost interest in the development stages for publishers. Unless the game is really good and original, I'll probably only play games that can be networked. Like drinking gaming should be a social event. To publishers; keep Co-op alive. PC gamers invented it after all.
