Violent Games make Heroes

For those that follow my site, your familiar with all the noise I make when it comes to research on violence in games. Just recently I was on my soap box about the idiot Jack Thompson, because he was blaming Counter Strike to be the reasoning behind the VT massacre as the dude played the game when he was in high school.

Well here's some new news for Jack. It would appear Counter Strike also makes heroes out of us, as a Brit gamer recently was shot while helping out security guards during a robbery.

At some point, perhaps we can admit that games, like other forms of media have absolutely zero affect on our behavior, positive or negative. Perhaps we need to blame the fact the we breath oxygen, and that's the real reason for violent tendencies, as we all know those that don't breath oxygen don't commit crimes.
