Tomb Raider Underworld Reviewed

Gamespy's review on the X360:
"Poor technical performance with bad camera, lousy framerate and lots of bugs; new moves can create confusion in controls."

Reply from reader (FomarThain) that played it on a PC:
"I didn't have any technical performance issues. I didn't have any framerate issues. I had no trouble with the new moves. I didn't have any trouble with the controls and I used an XBox 360 controller. "

From IGN:
"At least the PC version of the game attempts to optimize its experience for you, and I noticed that made the visuals much sharper and clearer than expected. I also noticed that there were plenty of jumps where using the mouse and keyboard controls were a much better option than simply using a gamepad..."

"The PC version controls best. The simple quadrants provided by the WASD buttons used for movement, and the smooth and responsive mouse controls for the camera, make it significantly easier to make your way through the game."

"The PC version of Underworld is the best looking...On a well-equipped PC however, the game runs comparatively smoothly and offers an impressive amount of detail."

" The PC version is the best bet with its detailed visuals, stable framerate, and significantly improved controls."

IGNs ranking:
PC - 8, X360 - 7.5, PS3 - 7.4, Wii - 6.5
